We only collect information reasonably necessary to assess enquiries, structure lending scenarios, process applications, communicate with you and improve our systems and services. We take reasonable steps to protect the confidentiality of the information entrusted to us.
Important: Use of our website tools does not affect your credit file unless you proceed with a formal application and provide consent for the required credit enquiries or assessment steps.

Overseas Disclosure
Some of the service providers and platforms used to deliver our services are located outside Australia. This includes technology, administration and operational-support providers used by our Australian Credit Licence holder, some of which operate from the Philippines.
Where personal information is shared with an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to be handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
- Overseas disclosure may occur where it is reasonably necessary to operate the services you are using.
- We only share information with overseas recipients bound by contractual obligations around privacy and information security.

Cookies and Website Tracking
Our website may use cookies, pixels, tags, analytics tools and similar technologies to understand traffic patterns, measure page performance, improve usability, refine digital tools and support marketing or remarketing activities.
This may include services such as Google Analytics and other website performance or tracking tools. You can usually manage cookie settings through your browser preferences, although disabling cookies may affect the functionality of some website features.
Marketing Communications
We may use your contact details to send you service updates, educational content, market insights, product information, promotional material or relevant finance opportunities where permitted by law.
You may opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe facility where available or by contacting us directly.
Credit File and Consent
Using our website, enquiry forms, calculators or eligibility tools does not, by itself, result in a credit check being recorded on your credit file.
If you decide to proceed with a formal application, we may seek your consent to collect further information, obtain supporting documents, verify information and engage with lenders or other third parties as required for assessment and application processing.
Credit Reporting Bodies and Credit Reporting
Where you consent to proceed with a formal credit application, we or the lender we refer you to may exchange personal information and credit information with Australian credit reporting bodies. In Australia these are primarily:
- Equifax Australia Information Services and Solutions Pty Ltd — the largest consumer credit reporting body in Australia.
- illion Australia Pty Ltd — a major alternative consumer and commercial credit reporting provider.
- Experian Australia Credit Services Pty Ltd — may be used for specific lender workflows.
What is exchanged
Under the Comprehensive Credit Reporting (CCR) framework, credit reporting bodies may hold and share identification details, credit liabilities, repayment history information, defaults, court proceedings, insolvency information and related creditworthiness data for the purpose of credit assessment.
When credit reporting happens
Use of our website, calculators, pre-assessment and eligibility tools does not by itself result in any credit reporting body being contacted. Credit reporting only occurs if you choose to proceed with a formal credit application and provide the specific consents required at that stage.
Your rights under the credit reporting system: you can ask a credit reporting body for a free copy of your credit report once in every 12-month period, ask for incorrect information to be corrected, and place a ban on access to your credit file if you believe you have been or are at risk of fraud.
Access and Correction
You may request access to personal information we hold about you, or request correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, subject to any legal or operational exceptions that may apply.
To make a request, please contact us using the details below. We may require you to verify your identity before actioning the request.
Complaints — Internal and External Dispute Resolution
If you believe something has gone wrong with the way we have handled your information, assessed your application or delivered our services, we want to hear from you so we can fix it.
Step 1 — talk to us (Internal Dispute Resolution)
Please contact us first using the details in the Contact section below. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly, aim to resolve most complaints within five business days, and write to you with a full response once our investigation is complete. If we need longer than 30 days to resolve the matter, we will let you know in writing and explain why.
Step 2 — external review (AFCA) for credit-related complaints
If you are not satisfied with the outcome from us, or you have not heard back from us within 30 days, you can refer the matter to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) at no cost to you. AFCA is an ASIC-approved External Dispute Resolution scheme providing independent resolution of financial services complaints.

Step 3 — privacy-specific complaints (OAIC)
If your complaint specifically concerns the handling of your personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and we have not resolved it to your satisfaction, you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner on 1300 363 992 or at www.oaic.gov.au.
Time limits may apply to complaints made to AFCA. AFCA will let you know whether your complaint is within the applicable time limit when you contact them.
Retention of Information
We retain information for as long as reasonably required for the purposes for which it was collected, to manage ongoing client relationships, to meet legal, regulatory, compliance and record-keeping obligations, and to resolve disputes or enforce agreements where required.
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business, technology, legal obligations or service offerings. Any updated version will be published on this page and will take effect from the date it is posted.
